Customer Assistance Program
I pay a SFPUC water/sewer bill or Hetch Hetchy Power bill:
If you are a customer with a low income, you may qualify for our new and improved Customer Assistance Program (CAP), which provides 25%-40% off your water/sewer bill or 30% off your Hetch Hetchy Power bill.
I don’t pay a Hetch Hetchy Power bill. I pay a CleanPowerSF/PG&E bill.
You may be eligible to save up to 35% a month through the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) or the Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) discount programs, as well as debt-forgiveness options like the Arrearage Management Plan (AMP).
I am a Hetch Hetchy Power customer with a medical disability.
The Medical Necessity Assistance Program (MNAP) allows qualified households to use 75% more energy at the general residential service rate. If you are a Hetch Hetchy Power customer with a medical disability, you may be eligible for assistance.
