Cured-In-Place-Pipe Lining (CIPP) Work:
-
Details: We are rehabilitating sewers using a process called “Cured-in-place-pipe” lining (CIPP), which is shorter and less disruptive than street excavation. Rehabilitation using CIPP requires equipment in the street and continuous daytime and nighttime 24-hour operation for 2-4 days in each of the locations listed below. Expect parking restrictions, traffic impacts, and periodic construction noise on the blocks where work is occurring. Noisy work will be conducted in compliance with the San Francisco Noise Ordinance. Your sewer and water services will not be affected during construction.
-
Access: Locations with through access will continue to be available, flaggers will be on-site as needed, and detour signage will be posted. There will be necessary traffic control for public and worker safety.
