The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Mayor London N. Breed, Anchor Brewing Company, Cambrian, actor Edward Norton and other officials today celebrated an innovative new water reuse project at the flagship San Francisco brewery. The initiative will significantly reduce Anchor’s water usage and have the capacity to save 20 million gallons of water per year, making it the largest commercial water reuse project in the history of San Francisco.
With much needed rains expected to arrive in the Bay Area this week, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is reminding residents of the many resources that the agency offers to help prepare for stormy conditions. Those measures include the Floodwater Grant program—a critical resource that allows property owners to implement projects on their properties to minimize risk of damage due to heavy rains.
