The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) seeks a food and non-alcoholic beverage café operator to lease an existing café space located on the ground floor of the 13-story SFPUC Headquarters.
The commercial space available for lease consists of two areas within the building: (i) the Lobby Café area located on the ground floor at the corner of Redwood Street and Polk Street and (ii) the Preparation and Storage Area located in the basement of the building. The Lobby Café includes a front and rear counter and contains approximately 353 square feet of dedicated but not demised area, plus approximately 713 square feet for common area seating. The Preparation and Storage Area contains approximately 428 square feet of food preparation area, 123 square feet of office space, and 287 square feet of storage area. The Preparation and Storage Area provides cold storage, ice-making, dishwashing facilities, and storage.
The building has no on-site cooking or baking allowed other than espresso machines, microwave ovens, soup warmers, panini presses, and other plug-in equipment. Any cooking and baking must be done off-site and delivered to the Lobby Café. Tenant, subject to SFPUC approvals as provided in the lease, will be responsible for any additional furnishings, fixtures, or equipment required to operate and maintain the Lobby Café and the Preparation and Storage Area.
