Coordinating many events at the Southeast Community Center (SECC) is no easy task, but Patrick Llamas and his team sure does make it look effortless. Patrick helps many community members, organizations, and colleagues from various City departments to organize their events at the SECC. He also leads the SECC digital communication channels and strategy by helping to promote events and programs to activate the center and build brand awareness of the SECC.
San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s Southeast Community Center has once again partnered with Dragonspunk Farmers Market to serve the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhoods with a Farmers Market each Thursday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm starting June 6 through October 31, 2024.

San Francisco has been named the top U.S. city for energy efficiency and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions in the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy’s (ACEEE) 2024 City Clean Energy Scorecard. Mayor London N. Breed today announced San Francisco was selected for the second consecutive year to earn this prestigious ranking, surpassing 75 of the largest U.S. cities.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) voted today to adopt annual power rates for its two power programs, Hetch Hetchy Power and CleanPowerSF. The new rates will go into effect for customers beginning July 1, 2024.
Last year, we shared exciting news that Hetch Hetchy Power customer, the Sunset Health Center, began construction on a fuel switching project. Fuel switching is part of a broader effort by the SFPUC’s Power Enterprise to help customers switch from natural gas – a fossil fuel – to all electric systems.
